Travel Itinerary
Day 1. - Arequipa – Colca Canyon cruz del Condor - viewpoints (Shared Service)
02:30h. Start early with hotel pick-up in Arequipa and travel through the scenic Andean highlands, spotting wildlife such as vicuñas and alpacas. Arrive in the Colca Valley and visit traditional villages like Chivay and Yanque.
Continue to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you’ll witness the impressive flight of the Andean condor over one of the deepest canyons in the world. Enjoy stops at panoramic viewpoints and pre-Inca terraces and hot spring before heading to your accommodation.
Overnight in Chivay.
Day 2. - Chivay - Amazon River Source – Chivay-Arequipa (Private and Shared service)
06:00h. After breakfast, continue your journey in private service toward the remote highlands where the Amazon River originates. Travel through breathtaking landscapes, crossing rivers and traditional communities.
Reach the source area of the Amazon River and learn about its geographical and cultural importance in a peaceful natural setting.
After the visit, return to Arequipa in a touristic shared transportation.
18:00h. City center drop-off in Arequipa.
