Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arequipa. The journey heads toward the highlands, passing through the traditional village of Chiguata before entering the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.

Along the route, you'll travel through beautiful Andean scenery featuring native Queñua forests and Yareta, one of the Andes' most iconic high-altitude plants. Keep an eye out for the region's abundant wildlife, including vicuñas, alpacas, llamas, guanacos, flamingos (seasonally), and other Andean bird species.

Upon arrival at Salinas Salt Lagoon, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the immense white salt flats framed by the imposing volcanoes Misti, Pichu Pichu, and Ubinas. Depending on the season and water levels, the lagoon transforms into a spectacular mirror-like landscape that perfectly reflects the surrounding mountains.
